Fundraising Event for the Laurel Doody Project in New York City, Sunday, June 26
You are cordially invited to support the Laurel Doody project by purchasing a one-off ceramic plate made by Los Angeles based New Zealand artist Fiona Connor. This will enable you to join an exclusive dinner at Lisa Cooley gallery in the Lower East Side, New York, taking place on Sunday, June 26th.
Laurel Doody (www.laureldoody.com) is a non-profit gallery that supports New Zealand and international artists with financial assistance and visibility to an international audience in Los Angeles. Past exhibitions have included New Zealand artists Kate Newby, Nick Austin and Daniel Malone.
The dinner will take place amongst Fiona Connor’s exhibition at Lisa Cooley gallery, New York with music by artist Steve Kado, New Zealand food and wine put together by Jo Connor and a table piece by New Zealand artist Kate Newby, creating a new environment and experience.
Plates are $500 and there are only 20 available. You can secure your place at the dinner and view your choice of plate by contacting Helen Andrews helen@artandculture.com
If you would like to support Laurel Doody but can not attend the dinner you will receive a plate and have the option of sending a friend in your place.
