Holiday Gallery Night / Light Up Milton

Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation is extending its annual “call to artists” for their “Holiday Gallery Night/Light Up Milton” scheduled for the first Friday in December on the 2nd from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.  This event is made specifically to benefit artists and businesses wishing to participate. There is NO fee for participation, however all artists must coordinate their location placements with the Dragonfly Gallery Director, Jeanne Lynch. 

Holiday Gallery Night/Light Up Milton draws people from all over northwest Florida and southern Alabama.  The Pensacola New Journal awarded stated that it’s a “must see” for the holiday season. The Arts Council/Agency for Santa Rosa County coordinates this event to help promote the arts and the artisans by providing a holiday venue at absolutely no cost to them to sell their wares for the upcoming Christmas season. A program will be made available at the Dragonfly Gallery listing the business locations of the participating artists.  We encourage all visitors to stop by the Gallery for live music, refreshments and a copy of the program to start their seasonal tour of the Holiday Gallery Night/Light Up Milton.

The event has grown annually with multitude of Christmas decorations and lights sparkling the spirit of a “small town American Christmas”.   Christmas lights, carolers, musicians, nativity sets and so much more will adorn the streets of historic downtown Milton while many enjoy the feel of the “old fashion Christmas” by riding in a horse drawn carriage. A large Christmas tree will be lit and decorated welcoming the season and all of its visitors.
