In April of 2010, Post Fact Productions will produce a FREE experimental opera at the historic Tower Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Through corporate sponsorship and with the official support of The Los Angeles City initiative Bringing Back Broadway we will provide employment to 40+ artists and revitalize the historic Broadway corridor by complementing and connecting new large-scale downtown entertainment and cultural destinations, as well as galleries, restaurants, and cultural activities throughout Downtown.
Beginning in Los Angeles, each year Post Fact Productions will travel to a new American Metropolis and produce a play featuring the city’s ground-breaking musicians, dancers, visual artists, composers, light and sound designers. We will present the play celebrating the city’s unique culture at no cost to its people. Each member of the cast and production will be compensated but the play will have no admittance charge. Not only will sponsors support the arts, they will also provide temporary jobs by hiring builders, educators, musicians, choreographers and artists for the production.
NEW. will feature Los Angeles’ most promising musicians, dancers and designers including Anna Oxygen, Ariana Delawari, Aska Matsumiya, KP Thomas of Spindrift, Amanda Jo Williams, Oliwa of The Pleasure Circus Band, Featherbeard, Max Guirand of Lion of Panjshir & Black Hole Oscillators and members of The LA Ladies Choir. Choreography by Mecca Andrews, Costuming by Miss KK, Set Design by Milo Reice, Ad Art Direction by Alia Penner, Make-Up by Sarai Fiszel, Photography by Shelby Duncan and Light Design by Nicholas Amato.
