My life has always revolved around the visual image. After graduating Boston College and attending the Graduate Film Program at New York University, I began working in the film industry in 1994 and directed films, local commercials, and music videos. As a wearer of many hats, I have been a writer, director, producer, editor, and cameraperson. I was also creator and host of a television show, “Show Your Shorts” that aired in Manhattan for ten years. I recently received an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media. I have continued to create documentaries, video installations and photographs which have been shown in gallery spaces in Chelsea, the DUMBO Arts Festival, East Hampton, and Chicago, to name a few. Awards I have received include the Thomas Reiss Memorial Award for my thesis project, an artist residency at ArtCenter in Miami, and two television program grants. [show less]
