Arghavan begins playing Flute and Santoor when she was 9 years old. First time, she was 10 years old that gains the First Prize of Tehran Painting Competition. So her mother decides Arghavan continuous Plastic Arts. Arghavan began to design and painting Miniature when she was 14 years old and during this time she gains 11 the First Prize in Miniature and Poster design, in Tehran Province Art Competitions. The winner of 1st Place and golden Statue in "Porsesh e Mehr" of President, Art Exhibition and Contest, Tehran, Iran, 2000.
The winner of 1st Place and gold medal in "Wonders of Persia" Art Exhibition and Contest, San Francisco, USA, 2000.
The winner of 2nd Place and Silver medal in "The Colombo Plan" Art competition, Colombo, Sri Lanka, 2001.
She participates in many Group Exhibitions of Plastic Arts, illustration and graphic design in "Presidio Alliance" at San Francisco, "IRIB Int'l. Conference Center" (IICC), "Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art", "Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation", "Iran Art Organization", "Saba Cultural and Artistic Institute", "Aftab Cultural and Artistic Institute", etc. and In june 2010 she held exhibition "Persian Typography" in Paris, Cité des Arts.
Arghavan has several interviews by "Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, (IRIB)" like Iran TV1, Iran TV3, Iran News, Jam e Jam 1&2, Youth Radio, Youth Journalist Club website and also in the magazines such as "Zan e rooz", "Keyhan bacheha", "Shaparak", "Dokhtaran", "Barg e farhang".
Her miniatures, illustrations and graphic designs published by Newspaper, Publishers and magazines like: "The Orinda news" California, "Aarrow Publications" California, "Yassavoli" Publications, "Organization for educational research and planning" (OERP), "Kanoon Parvaresh Fekri" Publications, "Soroush" Publications, "Rasm" Publications, "Segal" magazine, "Zan e rooz" magazine, "Shaparak" magazine, "Niloofarane" magazine, "Soroush koodakan" magazine, etc.

Arghavan has been the excelled Member of "Young researcher club (YRC)". She has the "Art research diploma" from "Ministry of Culture & Islamic Guidance" 2002. She worked as an "exportable carpet designer" in "Heidarian Carpet" company 2002-2003. Then she begins teaching at different branch of Islamic Azad University as a Lecturer and Thesis Advisor.
She is honored in 2nd and 4th "Festival in honor of Elites of Islamic Azad University" 2008 and 2010, and 1st "Festival of excelled of university" 2009.
