This gown is a personal take on a traditional Filipina dress, the terno. Centered on the idea of a mestiza woman - meaning “mixed blood” - the dress is a blending of materials, and layers built upon layers. The result is a piece inspired by tradition, which also reinterprets the strength, beauty and complexity of a modern Filipina.
