When used of color, bright implies saturated; of a star, radiant; of a mind, acute; or the future, auspicious. Of all four, remarkable for their brilliance, standing in marked contrast to their background or to the common run of things. Cheerful, optimistic. Mediterranean in tone and sunny in mood. Exemplary of its kind, and therefore pleasurable.
