Located in Manhattan this non-profit is a place for experimenting and experiencing artists taking risks. "The organization identifies, supports and presents emerging and under-recognized artists who are making significant contributions to their respective fields as well as serves as a safe space for more established artists to take unusual creative risks."
The kitchen is open Tuesday through Saturday from 2-6pm and one hour before the beginning of the show. Students, Seniors and Members receive 20% off the price of a ticket. You can also volunteer to usher shows and in exchange receive free admittance to a show. For more info click here.
The Drawing Center
A non-profit on Wooster Street in Manhattan committed to the art of Drawing, featuring historical and current day artists. Their mission is to bring under-recognized artists to the forefront of public knowledge and create meaningful public discussions centered around the issues within art and culture.
